Sustainable Business Model - Our business model is based on the principle of ‘Circular Economy’. We accept garment waste asour primary and post-consumer RPET fibers as secondary inputs. We are a socially and environmentally responsible company committedto produce only recycled yarns which have a lesser impact on the environment ,by way of reduction in waste, water and energy consumption There is no usage of chemicals and dyes in our manufacturing process. Energy Efficiency - Our facilities are IGBC certified for green building infrastructure to minimize energy consumption . We are producing colored yarns with a dry process which consumes almost 50% less energy than virgin textile alternatives. We use high energy rated equipment and have initiated solar energy installations to shift part of energy consumption from power grid to other renewable sources. Water Efficiency - Usha Yarns manufacturing facilities are zero waste discharge .Our recycling and manufacturing processes do not requirewater. All domestic sewerage effluents are recycled for use in toilets and gardening. Our manufacturing activities annually save around 34992000 KL water as compare to similar virgin materials which needs dyeing. Chemical Management - We do not use any hazardous chemical in our mills and have an in-house testing lab for raw materials coming from suppliers. Pollution Reduction - Our plant has a dry process, hence no discharge of effluents, waste water and gases which are hazardous and polluting our environment. Recycling & Waste - We are producing 100% recycled yarns from pre and post-consumer waste routed from industry and post-consumer waste. Environmentally Friendly Materials - We have developed products which are blends of organic, BCI and recycled cotton fibers hence tagged to have multiple sustainable values. Ethical Sourcing & Supply Chain Management - We have long established close relations with our suppliers with high commitments for fair price and payments . Animal Friendly - Our product and processes do not used any animal derived materials.
